Την Τετάρτη 17 Ιανουαρίου, οι μαθητές/μαθήτριες της Δ΄ τάξης παρακολούθησαν ένα πολύ ενδιαφέρον εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα της Βιβλιοθήκης Κοραή με θέμα: « Ανακαλύπτω τον Αδαμάντιο Κοραή». Μέσα από αυτό, τα παιδιά πληροφορήθηκαν για σημαντικά γεγονότα της ζωής του, προσέγγισαν την προσωπικότητά του, εκτίμησαν το έργο του και την προσφορά του στην Επανάσταση του 1821. Επίσης, είχαν την ευκαιρία να δουν σημαντικά εκθέματα της βιβλιοθήκης που σχετίζονται με τον Αδαμάντιο Κοραή και με την Επανάσταση του 1821.
Η δεύτερη επίσκεψή μας ήταν στο Ναυτικό Μουσείο το οποίο πραγματικά ενθουσίασε όλους μας. Η αίθουσα με τα αντικείμενα που σχετίζονται με την πυρπόληση της τουρκικής ναυαρχίδας από τον Κωνσταντίνο Κανάρη, τα μοντέλα πλοίων, από τα ιστιοφόρα μέχρι τα σύγχρονα εμπορικά πλοία, πυξίδες, ραντάρ, τηλεσκόπια, ακρόπλωρα, πηδάλια… μας έδωσαν μια αυθεντική γεύση από τη ζωή των ναυτικών μας!
Ακόμη μια φορά διαπιστώσαμε ότι οι επισκέψεις σε μουσεία είναι πραγματικά ένας πολύ ευχάριστος τρόπος να μαθαίνεις.
